Last Sunday afternoon, after lunch, I was getting into my pg & as usual there’s always a dog tied up near the gate. The strange thing about it is that, when I go inside gate (OR) any other pg member goes inside gate, it never barks. But if strange person comes, it starts barking! Isn’t it astonishing?
As I didn’t have much to do in the boring Sunday afternoon, I started to think about this fact. I dived deep into my thoughts, how does that dog identifies strange person & acquainted person? What if we have equipment something similar to that dog? Isn’t that be of so much useful for us? Just imagine.
As a fact, it’s been known & agreed that dog ‘smells’ & identifies objects. Their smell sensing ability is remarkable. They identify & differentiate between things using this ability. As you might have also seen in movies and all, that police, CID etc uses dog during investigation!
According to me, just imagine, there are some invisible unique rays that are getting emitted from our body, all time (24X7). Probably I think dog’s can sense these rays & that is how they identify & differentiate. These rays are unique with each & every single human being (Similar to how our finger prints are). If we believe this assumption of mine then let’s see how we can extensively use them.
We have to implement an instrument, similar to dog, which can sense these rays & identify them. There needs to be big equipment, which can sense rays in a vast area & another small handy-one, which can sense just few inches. Using these two instruments we can have so much of advantages in security related areas! Let’s take an example.
As soon as I think of some security area, first place which hits my thought is Airport (Where I never been yet even once). Let’s assume I have to secure this place. Only thing I need to do is that, install my imaginary big equipment in the secured region of the airport. Before entering into the secured region, as people get checked-in by verifying passport, visa, bag, deadly weapons etc, the smell/ray of that person needs to be sensed/read through smaller equipment & update the database that this person, rather this person’s ray/smell is allowed in the secured area. This way, only the ones who are verified using smaller equipment & updated in database can be present in secured region. Suppose any strange person enters, obviously his rays/smell would not be present in database, which our bigger equipment will sense, identify & will alarm. As soon as it alarms, the security guys can take the smaller equipment & start holding it near to all the persons. Obviously when the equipment is near to strange person, it will also alarm identifying the “Jhonny Gaddar” ;-)
So what do you think of my thought? The doggy thought :-P. Will not that be of such a great use? I just gave an example of Airport. The same can even be applied in so many other places. Few other places would be Military area, restricted areas, IT companies, Theatres, Malls etc & so many other places.
Earlier, I gave example of Airport where I never been. Now briefly I can give example, how it can be used even in theatres where I always been ;-) It’s quite simple. The theatre should have my big imaginary equipment to sense the rays inside theatre. While we take ticket & were about to get into theatre, using small equipment just update database, telling this particular person rather person’s ray is valid inside theatre. Once movie ends, wipe off the database & start filling with new peoples rays. Gotcha? B-)
So now I suppose, you can imagine how & where all the doggy thought equipment can be used & utilized in our day to day places.
I would like to give one more day-to-day example of mine. Daily while entering office I swipe card to enter into office. This swiping should be done, every time, if I exit or enter office which is painful. This is because; only office people who have card should be able to enter/exit office & not any strange person. But just imagine, if doggy thought imaginary equipment is installed in my office, it will be so simple. When I get short-listed for the company, they should update my rays/smell into the database & that’s it. From that on, I can freely walk in & out of office without swiping card!
But let’s come back to reality, there isn’t any smell/rays or such thing. This is just my imaginary thought, but wonder & hope some time in future, some scientist will identify such rays & our security measures will be advanced :-)
